My desire is to have the E-zine accomplish two things: 1) provides you with an enjoyable, light-hearted read (or at least doesn’t put you to sleep) and 2) raises your awareness of all the facets of our industry and how we can help your business succeed.
By now you know that Intraform, AZ has reinvented itself to become Intra-Media Solutions. Intraform was an 18-year-old business with a strong Arizona presence, but to equate the company life to human life, it was ready to graduate to the next level. In walks Intra-Media Solutions – a more finely tuned company focused solely on delivering quality communications management services. Clearly, we have evolved over the years but one thing has remained constant – our commitment to customer focus. This ship can’t sail without all of you aboard!

LITTLE PURLS OF MARKETING WISDOM...
GET 'EM HERE!
Before you object, no we are not grammatically challenged at Intra-Media – these aren’t the “pearls” you’re thinking of. We are speaking of Personalized URLs, or PURLs, which are changing the face of one-to-one, real-time marketing.
Today’s consumer is much more technically savvy than yesterday’s, and not only do they expect companies to work harder for their loyalty, but they also want to control the way in which they receive communications, and PURLs give control to both parties. Who doesn’t love a win-win?!

In light of this observation, what does the future hold?
According to Seth Godin, owner of Yoyodyne Entertainment, the biggest problem with mass-market advertising is that it constantly interrupts consumers in an effort to reach them. Godin feels that this “interruption method” can still be useful when used in moderation – but in this day and age, moderate interruptions no longer exist and are rather more frequent and intrusive.
The new model, Godin argues, is built around permission. The challenge for marketers is to persuade consumers to volunteer attention - to "raise their hands" (one of Godin's favorite phrases) – to agree to learn more about a company and its products.
"Permission marketing turns strangers into friends and friends into loyal customers," he says. "It's not just about entertainment - it's about education."

INTRAMEDIA EMPLOYEE DONS YELLOW JACKET
THAT LEADS TO 50 YARD LINES
We’d be willing to bet that if you watched Oklahoma play Boise State during the Fiesta Bowl on Jan. 1, you weren’t asking yourself why the head referee was late to the game….because he wasn’t. Everything was in place – every player was lined up at the 50-yard line, rearing to go and every moving part was working in perfect unison because of the efforts of the Fiesta Bowl Committee and 2,600 volunteers. One of those volunteers, more specifically one of 250 “Yellow Jackets,” was Intra-Media’s own Andy Davis – long time college football fan and account executive extraordinaire.
